My 2023 🩷

January: Drove with my friend Katie to her new travel nursing job in Houston, TX. We stopped in Biloxi, MS and Mobile, AL. ☀️

February: nothing noteworthy 😂

March: Celebrated Matthew’s 21st birthday and saw Kenny Chesney in concert with my Dad, who got me listening to Kenny as a kid. It was a spur of the moment decision and a fantastic night. I remember leaving after the announcements at school and driving up to Charlottesville, getting back at 2 AM, and still going to teach the next day. 😂🤟🏼

April: Ordered our wedding bands. Saw my friend Aisha get married! 🥹 The engine blew on my Kia Soul. I went months without having a car due to their defective engine and then Kia FINALLY said they would fix it. I’m so thankful for Jonathan at Kia. My fiancé was in an accident and totaled his car. Such a scary moment for us.

May: Finished my second year of teaching. Went car shopping for Braden. Said goodbye to Braden’s MawMaw. ❤️

June: Traveled to Norfolk, VA, for our marriage retreat at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Had my bridal shower on June 17th. Still will go down as the day I felt the most love.

July: Wedding prep and more wedding prep.

August: Got married to Braden Smith. 💕 Finally got my car back from Kia. Started year 3 of teaching.

September: Went on our honeymoon to St. Martin!

October: Went to see— Taylor Swift The Eras Tour—movie with Meghan!

November: Started to make some decisions and listened to what God was putting on my heart. Threw my sister-in-law a baby shower!❤️

December: Turned 27. Became Aunt Paige. Went to a Caps game for the first time in a year. Went on a carriage ride!🎄✨
